Haven Worley began her career serving the business community of Burke County on August 9, 2021, as the Member Relations Specialist at the Burke Chamber of Commerce. Before entering the Chamber
world, she spent two and a half years at Montreat College where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Business and Sports Management that she completed in 2019. She then continued her education at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke where she will receive her Master of Business Administration in October is 2021.
Haven began serving the community however long before she began at the Chamber. She spent both summers of her undergraduate degree as an intern for Burke United Christian Ministries. During her time with BUCM, she initiated the now annual ‘Chipping for Change’ golf tournament fundraiser which raises thousands of dollars each year for the BUCM food pantry. She also plays a very active role throughout the Burke community through her church, Walker Road Baptist Church, where she is an active member in their young adults’ group. Other ways Haven enjoys giving back is by volunteering as a basketball coach for young girls and volunteering with local nonprofit organizations in Burke County.
Outside of school and her professional career, Haven enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and church family. She also enjoys playing golf in her past time, which she also played in college at Montreat. She is very excited to be working with the Chamber alongside her fellow team members to serve not only the businesses of Burke County but also the community members that are the foundation of this strong community.
